Our role when providing you with wealth management services
When providing you with wealth management services, our role is to work with you to mutually determine the scope of financial planning services you require. We will gather information from you regarding your personal and financial circumstances in order to make an appropriate recommendation to you regarding your financial planning needs.
We will discuss what information we require with you and what you will need to provide to us prior to receiving our advice and services.
To implement our advice, we will only recommend quality products and services that are suitable for you. We research a broad range of products and services and rates them on their suitability for our clients and their investment quality and/or product features.
Your role and responsibilities
The success of your financial strategy and reaching your goals also depends on you. It is important that you provide us with as much accurate information about you and keep us informed if your circumstances change to ensure our advice remains appropriate to your needs. To allow us to provide appropriate advice, you:
- agree to inform us of your relevant personal circumstances, financial situation, objectives and needs.
- understand that whilst we will make reasonable enquiries as to your personal circumstances, the responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the particulars and information gathered rests with you.
- acknowledge that should you provide incomplete or inaccurate information as to your personal circumstances, we may not be able to undertake a full analysis of your individual goals, financial situation and particular needs and there is a possibility that any recommendation given to you may not be fully appropriate to your circumstances, especially those that you have not disclosed.
In this circumstance it is your responsibility to carefully assess whether the subsequent recommendations are appropriate for your individual goals, financial situation and particular needs before acting on them and you risk making a financial commitment that may not be appropriate for you.
- understand that once you have provided all the necessary information we will analyse and evaluate that information to develop and document our recommendations in a Statement of Advice.
- will ask us questions if you need clarification on our advice, and if you accept our recommendations, instruct us in writing to implement the agreed strategies.
